3rd Prize in overnight C competition

Hello Everyone,
I am feeling happy to announce that I have got again 3rd prize in C competition. This time it was overnight competition “PIRATES OF C” of STC.
I recently got 3rd prize in Logi C Competition of POLARIS. Again I have got III prize. But this time I am disappointed by organizers of event. At the time of registration I have personally asked the organizers that whether there would be any graphics question; and they have promised that there will not be any. But there was a full question and that too of level 3 and the only question in that level which was to make a game. I did not have adequate practice of graphics and there I lost the cutting edge. My opponent, who got first prize, was a super graphics man and is known as GAMER in class. Actually the game was in level 3 and that too the only question in level 3. In level 1 and 2 I was a little bit ahead but last question made the difference. Anyway hats off to him.
I had to practice graphics a little...

3rd Prize in Logi-C

I am feeling happy to announce that I have got 3rd prize in “Logi-C” competition of Polaris-09 on 17th Aug, 09.
It was a 6 hour continuous competition. The questions were grouped in 3 levels. Level 1 was bit easy. I solved all the questions of level 1. Then after 1.30 hours we were given password of II level. It was tough and had some questions related to FILEs and I had some problem in it, but I got it later from help file.
At last was level III and the toughest of all. After applying some brain into it I got 2 out of 3 in that level.
On the whole the questions were purely logical and the best part was that it had no graphics involved, all gray matter work. A student from MCA from other college was the winner. The marks were:
57- First
53- Second
52-Third (Me)
19-Average Score (approx)
I think I could have done better.
I will try hard in coming STC’s overnight C competition.

Lovers Of Wi-Fi...

I bet you love your Wi-Fi. Well, don't get too attached. Ericsson's chief marketing officer believes that Wi-Fi is already irrelevant and will be replaced by high-speed wireless broadband sooner than we think. Roadblocks are definitely in the way, but 3.5G networks will far outstrip Wi-Fi in coverage the world over. I am not going to fault Johan Bergendahl's comments. After all, Ericsson designs and manufactures a lot of the backhaul networking equipment being used by the mobile network operators to deploy 3G and 3.5G networks. From Ericsson's point of view, these mobile broadband networks are mushrooming in size much faster than fixed telephony did. Bergendahl was the keynote speaker at the European Computer Audit, Control and Security Conference in Stockholm. He told attendees, "In Austria they are saying that mobile broadband will pass fixed broadband this year. It's already growing faster, and in Sweden, the most popular phone is a USB modem. Hotspots at places like Starbucks are becoming the teleph.........
